Winter's coming

When I woke up this morning, I felt as if I were sleeping outside all night. I didn't even want to get out of bed to check the thermastat, but I did anyway and found I was sleeping in 70 degree weather inside the condo. I like to be all snuggly and warm so I braved the cold and turned up the heat 5 degrees, hmmmmm that felt good.

Idecided to go out and do a little shopping so I put on my winter coat, to brave the cold, it was now 45 and windy, by the time I had gotten to my destination, it was warming up outside and off came the coat. I hate when it keeps changing like that. Here in Atlanta, you have to dress in layers cause you never know what the temp. is going to be.

I haven't been excercising very much, so I decided to join a gym and will be working out two or three times a week. I also hate to exercise, but if Marcel and his sister Rita are going to live to be 100 I guess I'll try that too to keep them company. We will all look like beef jerky then, who cares?

I understand the changing temperature woes. Friday our high in the LA area was 67 degrees, Saturday? 95! 30 degree difference in less than 24 hours. Craziness.

Having a hard time working up any sympathy, especially for Adrienne. We are going to fluctuate between 28 and 33 tomorrow. I keep a jacket in the car in the fall as I wear one to work, don't need it during the day when I take my breaks, and leave it in the office when I leave at night and need it then. I then wear it to work the next day and leave it in the car.

The weather in Cincinnati is about the same as yours, Gretchen. We have been in the low 30s all day, and it is currently snowing! Unfortunately I left my heavy winter coat in Knoxville, but I have been trying to layer and wear sweaters and hoodies.

Good for you for joining the gym, Grandma. You know I'll still love you bunches when you look like beef jerky...

I just can't imagine sleeping with beef jerky. Of course, I will retain my handsome self.

Sean forgot to mention the two T-shirts that he always wears...even in the summer...for style. :-)

Yeah, Ryno too !!

Grandma,
Somehow it always works out that Chester(my dog)wants to go out an extra time on nights like last night when it was below freezing! Not fun for me! Then he brings his cold little nose over and puts it on me. Usually somewhere that WAS warm like the backside of my knee. Good thing he's cute!
I can't believe you've been working out. Don't tell Robert!!! I don't want to have to start too. Actually, that's great. I hope you're having fun.
Love,
Tracy

Tracy I've only attended one class on Tuesday, but I really liked it, the class had about 35 people in it. I met several people and they were really pleasant. Tomorrow I will attend the second one, but I don't see any difference in my weight yet, guess I have to keep on going. We were given quite a work-out, and I'm not discouraged yet. I will not tell Robert, so don't worry.
